My principal duties as a pattern maker at Emporio Armani are focused on formalwear, shirting (formal and fashion), coats, blouson and caban coats. Occasionally I work with other merceology like trousers and leather garments. I also work with the style department as I'm take part to collection handover mettings.
At Emporio Armani the pattern making team not only develops the pattern on paper and/or using CAD software but we also take care of the size developement and to correct the defects.
The company also requires me to go to our production center to see the prototypes and work together with the seamstresses to make sure the samples are delivered correctly.
